Making Connections

Monarch Glass Studio created congruent works throughout the campus of the Lawrence Transit Facility. Stained glass inserts using bespoke blown glass made by the studio team were installed in the northwest corner of the terminal building. Utilising a similar design and concept, a chandelier made from blown glass saucers and blown glass tubing with neon inserts was placed in the waiting lobby. Outside, three, ten-foot illuminated towers were built from blown glass and aluminium, lighting passengers way towards the terminal.
