HILLTOP THE SQUARE “St. Wave”

Central to the wedding complex situated in Koshigaya City is the idea that the energy inherent in all beings is transmitted as resonating waves. The aim was to realise the chapel as a sacred, immaculate space. The concept of energy for the future spreading as waves is reflected within the chapel interior. Freestanding frames, 8.5 m high and made of steel pipes in the form of wavy curves, are connected horizontally through inversion of the ‘R’-shape. The spread of the waves is depicted by increasing the number of curves in each frame.
