The innovative design of the HRZ is based on vertical concrete walls and horizontally suspended wooden support structures. A material-optimised, thin, and weather-resistant concrete shell directs some of the waste heat directly outdoors. A newly developed system of connection points with die-cast zinc spacers highlights the climbing formwork. Depending on the load, the slabs are designed as beams or trusses and support heavy server loads without columns at a span of 18.70 m.
