Trio im Stadtgrün

Set within a mature tree canopy, this ensemble of three residential buildings (1963) creates a distinctive green retreat in Frankfurt (Sachsenhausen). The energy-efficient refurbishment achieved KfW Efficiency House Standard 85 and established a pathway to climate neutrality by 2045. Facades, roofs, and windows were upgraded, renewable energy systems installed, and material reuse was maximised, meaning CO₂ emissions and environmental impact could be reduced while the high-quality outside space was preserved.
