Sitges House

Conceived as a habitable belvedere, the design explores how architecture can reconnect humans with nature by framing the sea, sky, and surrounding landscape. Inspired by the Japanese concept of shakkei, or borrowed scenery, the intervention opens up the original load-bearing structure, creating visual axes, cross ventilation, and a sequence of wooden frames that transform the landscape into a series of living, framed pictures within the domestic space.
