Spring House

Spring House bridges a century of family history with contemporary architecture. Built on the site of a home that held four generations of memories, the project carries this long family narrative forward while honouring the land that nourished it. Timber elements from the 1912 thatched house live on within new spaces, and the well, where spring water once rose, is preserved and gives the house its name. Set low against the hillside treeline, the gabled roofs fold quietly into the rural landscape.
