In the village centre of Thayngen, a dilapidated farmhouse has been transformed into a multi-family residence. The adjacent farm wing has been replaced and integrated as a new residential volume within the ensemble, an intervention that creates additional housing units and clearly structured open spaces, while the character of the existing farmhouse is preserved and further developed.
