Details

This project redefines collective housing as a market platform for sustaining regional craftsmanship in Kyoto. Materials such as tile, stone, metal mesh, and washi are deployed across facade, eaves, flooring, and interior spaces, forming an integrated system. Rather than decoration, craft is embedded as spatial structure, supporting local production networks. Sustainability is defined through durability, material aging, and regional circulation.
