Black House (Casa Negra)

The Black House was designed as a three-level steel structure with integrated wooden components. Operable facade elements open the building interiors up to their surroundings, resulting in a symbiotic relationship between nature and the built environment. The project forms part of the multi- award-winning No Footprint House, a systemic toolbox for sustainable construction. Climate-responsive designs in combination with industrial building techniques result in broad range of affordable solutions.
