14-Bis House

The 14-Bis house explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and memory. Inspired by the wings of Santos Dumont’s pioneering aircraft, the project is composed of two cantilevered volumes that lightly rest on sloped terrain supported by a metallic structure. Large openings frame the rural horizon of Campinas and the passing Maria Fumaça train, dissolving boundaries between interior and exterior while creating a spatial experience defined by lightness and continuity.
