Details
The Lost Shtetl Museum invites visitors to rediscover the vanished world of Eastern European shtetls, towns with large Yiddish populations, through the story of Šeduva, Lithuania, as preserved by survivors and descendants. Focusing on the interwar years (1918–1940), the museum explores religious, civic, social, and commercial life. By looking at one small town, it offers a powerful lens on the broader history and massacre of Lithuanian and European Jews.
