Details

M-Plaza in Munich combines regional timber, recycled steel, and concrete in a construction approach unique in Germany. Around 8,000 m³ of wood permanently store approximately 8,000 t of CO2, while the use of recycled steel cuts production emissions almost entirely. On-site photovoltaic and geothermal systems power the building, while AI-controlled lighting, ventilation, and climate systems maximise efficiency and reduce operating costs by up to 90% compared to conventional new office buildings.
