YAKITORI NASU HOUSE

This project was designed as a new yakitori restaurant by renovating part of an old house while maintaining the culture of a ‘Lilong’ (an alley comprising tenement buildings), which can be found in large numbers in Shanghai. We designed this yakitori restaurant to be an extension of this ‘Lilong’, a place where people gather, enjoy food and communicate naturally, centred on a long and narrow open kitchen.
