Youi Cultureplex

In Yeongwol, an abandoned mine city where population outflow is intensifying, the road where coal was previously loaded has been reinterpreted and reborn as a tourist trail called Untangodo. Youi Cultureplex was designed to serve as a base camp for visitors on the path of Untangodo. It was designed with the hope that Yeongwol will become a lively city again, inside and outside the village, thanks to the experiences provided by the building.
