Luohu Foreign Language School Concert Hall

The campus is located at the foot of Wutong Mountain Scenic Area in Luohu District, Shenzhen. The school is between the mountain and the city. The design uses curves to deconstruct the shape of the mountain and the musical notes. The space abandons right angles and uses continuous curved surfaces to build a dynamic flow – the curved wall of the space extends to the ceiling moulding, which mimics the natural texture of a sycamore tree trunk and the dynamic curve of its upward growth.
