Relocation and Reconstruction of Dongmaoku Warehouse of Shenyang Jianzhu University

The project derives from an old warehouse slated for demolition in Dongmaoku, a 1950s industrial zone. With historic value, distinctive form, and exquisite timber roof trusses, the building was relocated to the campus for protective renovation. The project retained its original form, with supplementary measures, including steel trusses and cavities, creating a bright, comfortable, energy-efficient academic space.
