Wohnbau Schwerthof

Alongside the listed Schwerthof building, 147 residential units (10,142.00 sqm UA) were constructed on the site of a derelict industrial building using cost-effective construction methods (one grid system, prefabricated elements). Four distinct, colour-coded, glazed stairwells serve as visible landmarks of the development and facilitate visual connections. Courtyards as green oases, photovoltaic systems, a deep well, and retention basins contribute to the ecological enhancement of the site.
