Raumlabor in Purbach am Neusiedlersee

In Purbach, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a spatial laboratory was created under strict nature protection regulations for a musician and a scientist. The two-level cuboid in the golden ratio combines a glazed hall with living functions above and an acoustically optimised studio below. Sliding wooden elements form a walk-in filter for sun, privacy, and weather protection. With its appearance combining natural materials and clear design language, it seems as if the building has always been there.
