After the 2021 flood disaster in the Ahr Valley, the Dagernova vinotheque in Dernau was comprehensively renovated. The refurbishment embraced the existing structure as an opportunity: historic rough-stone walls, clear spatial layouts, and high-quality materials such as black steel and oak combine history with contemporary architecture. Interior and exterior spaces merge into an open place for wine, social interaction, and cultural experience.
