Connected Work Environments

Kantonsspital Uri brings together two floors with distinct cultures: on the second floor, medical staff and services operate close to daily clinical work; on the third, management, finance, HR, and nursing leadership work at a more strategic level. The aim was not to eliminate this difference, but to make it legible and provide appropriate workspaces. The concept follows a logic of growth—from doing to thinking—while the spiral staircase connects both levels as a spatial transition.
