Details
Osaka is Japan’s second biggest city. Its central railway station, Osaka Station has been in operation for 150 years. The redevelopment has brought a big turning point to this station, and it was reborn as a new Osaka. We designed a new building as ‘the Gateway to the new Osaka’, connecting the historic station’s facilities with a huge new natural park. This ultra-thin skyscraper is designed with various materials and lighting to create an architecture that reflects and harmonises with its surroundings.
