Wohn- und Geschäftshaus, Überlingen

The building dates back to 1847. Originally built as a barn and stable, it has evolved through various uses. The recent transformation aimed to revive its spirit while preserving its heritage. Upcycling played a central role: existing structural elements were restored and historic furniture was given a new purpose. The location by the lake shaped the design concept. Colour shades of the water flow into the interiors, and large windows create a strong visual connection between inside and out.
