Design and renovation of Ritz-Carlton Reserve Rissai Valley

Nestled in the Zhongchagou valley of Jiuzhaigou, the ‘Ritz-Carlton Reserve’ project harmonises with ancient Tibetan villages against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Following the 2017 earthquake, architects redesigned façades and spaces to more deeply reflect Tibetan-Qiang cultural heritage, using local materials and preserving the area’s natural character and environment. The renewal blends luxury with cultural authenticity, showcasing responsible post-disaster architectural revival.
