The newly built PTS Station/T1, part of the Frankfurt Airport expansion, is a prime example of how engineering technology, construction, and architecture can come together as one. The structure spans along the arrival level and connects the adjacent buildings. It is supported by tree-like pillars, the key design element based on the initial concept of tree canopy.
