The Kevelaer Youth and Administration Center transforms and expands a former school building into a contemporary ensemble of existing and new structures. While the old building retains its regionally typical architecture, the L-shaped, two-storey new building, with its ribbon windows and wooden facade, provides a contrasting addition. The sustainable use of the existing building fabric and the clearly defined extension unite administration and open youth work under one roof.
