HIROSHIMA STATION BUILDING

The Hiroshima Station Building is the result of a redevelopment project to reorganise the urban-axis and transportation-hub functions of the station building. Because it directly faces Ekimae-ohashi-dori Street, its central atrium, into which streetcars directly enter, serves as a point of contact between architecture and the city, thereby reconstructing a pedestrian network that connects the city and the station and enhancing convenience and accessibility for station users.
