Hospitality in Wood—Europe’s largest Wood-Hybrid Hotel

The “Gastfreundschaft in Holz—Holzhotel Wien Schwechat” project promises “hospitality in wood” at what is currently the largest hybrid wood hotel. With 510 rooms, it sets new standards for sustainability through massive CO2 storage. Thanks to ceiling panels that extend across the entire depth of the building, the interior remains free of load-bearing walls, allowing for maximum flexibility in future renovations. Open communal areas and green courtyards and facades create lively spaces for people to gather.
