A shortage of skilled professionals, country-specific building regulations and increasingly complex project requirements are changing how architecture is organised. The MIRROR Architecture Group works through a decentralised European network: for every project, international creative teams are combined with local planning expertise.
At ICONIC Connect, Sebastian Schützdeller, architect and founder of MIRROR, talks about the development of the practice, its business model and the question of how architecture will be designed, coordinated and delivered in future. The focus is on the interfaces between design, building law and project management – and on the relationship between creative autonomy and shared infrastructure.
Recent work such as the new JetBrains office in Munich's Tucherpark and the Occhio projects in Munich and Milan shows how MIRROR integrates the site, the building task and the client's identity into the design process. Architecture here does not emerge from a single signature style, but from the right constellation of expertise and perspectives.
We invite you to breakfast and professional exchange at MIRROR's Munich office.
